Can I bring my child?

You are more than welcome to bring the young ones. Children under the age of 12 don’t need a valid ticket, but will need an adult with them, holder of a valid day/festival ticket.

Children between the ages 12 - 16 need to have a ticket and also need to be under adult supervision. Please fill out this form. Make sure you print and bring this form with you at the gates.

Children between the ages 16 - 18 need to have a valid ticket and can come unaccompanied by an adult. If your child turns 12 at the festival, please refer to the Festival Rules, art. 5, to check what cases apply to you.

Can I bring my water/beer/bag of chips?

Access with any type of food or drinks from the outside is prohibited. However, we have a good selection of beers, wines, soft drinks and coffee to keep you hydrated and a range of snacking options for all tastes.

Can I bring my backpack/rucksack/purse?

You can, as long as it doesn’t exceed this size. We want everyone to be comfortable. And truth be told, how are you gonna headbang with such heavy weight upon you?

Can I take my perfume/deodorant/cosmetics with me?

We appreciate that all metal ladies should be able to be on point. Just make sure your bottle of sweetest perfume is not larger than 30ml, same for the deo stick. Sprays are not allowed. Any cosmetics should be kept safe, don’t go poking someone out.

I have a disability, how accessible is the festival for me?

If you have any form of disability and a disabled certificate, come on over to our Info Point. Our colleagues will help out with access.

What’s the difference between a pass and a ticket?

Pretty simple: a single day ticket will give you access to concerts and activities on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday. A festival pass will give you access to the whole 3 days of metal and prog mayhem.

What’s the wristband?

When you come over to the access points, after getting your ticket scanned, you will receive a wristband according to your ticket type. Keep it on your hand throughout the festival period and do not remove it under any circumstances. It’s washable and water resistant. Or beer resistant.

HOW DO I GET MY WRISTBAND?

You get your wristband in exchange for scanning your ticket. If you have a full pass, you can get your wristband at the Info Point as early as Thursday, 27th July (between 16:00-21:00) or during every festival day between 12:00 - 00:00. If you have a day ticket, you will only be able to pick up your wristband on the day you bought a ticket for.

WHAT IS THE INFO POINT, WHERE IS IT, WHEN IS IT OPEN?

The Info Point is the large container right next to the main gates in the Large Square. It is appropriately branded so you won't miss it. Things you can do at the Info Point:

  • exchange your tickets and passes for the wristband
  • buy tickets and passes
  • submit documentation for access with minors
  • submit documentation for disabled access
  • get your wristbands if you're on our accreditations lists
I’m a student, what’s the deal with the tickets?

Students (school or college) can buy tickets at a discounted price called THE SCHOLAR. However, you will need to present a valid ID and a valid student ID at our Info Point in order to receive your wristband. It doesn’t matter whether you're in school or finishing up your PhD as long as your education institution is accredited by the Romanian State or by the government of your country of residence. Just have a valid student ID and a valid ID with you at the gates.

BAG ALLOWANCE

Access is permitted with one bag/participant, provided it is not bigger than 50x30x20cm. This bag may be a backpack, a pouch, a strap bag, a fanny pack, or variants of these items. Please do not bring bags on wheels or strollers.

This rule is meant to ensure the comfort and manageable safety of all festival participants.
