Midgardsblot Metal Festival and Folket Bortafor Nordavinden invites you to a traditional Blot ceremony at this year’s ARTmania! The day of Freya they will perform a Viking Blot to honour the Norse gods. A opening ritual to cleanse, to heal and to connect. Open for all to participate

WHAT TO EXPECT
THE INCANTATION
Folket Bortafor Nordavinden will start the ceremony with a traditional Norse incantation, welcoming all the public, appeasing ancient deities and staying grateful and joyous for the opportunity to get together.
THE CIRCLE
All participants are welcome and encouraged to join this circle. You can experience your moment in the circle any way that feels right for you. You can be curious, spiritual, joyous, whatever you need to be.
THE HEALING
A Norse totem will be at the center of the ceremony and the band will interact with it while saying the incantations. It will be bathed in mead, which you can later dip your fingers in for good luck, joy, peace, whatever you need to acquire.

LOCATION
Huet Square is located in the city centre, 3-4 minutes away from the Large Square.
ARTmania Festival can easily be reached by bike, public transport or car.
By Bike
Bikes can be rented from the local administration or from local businesses.
