On Europe Day, May 9 – the day we celebrate peace, freedom and European unity – ARTmania Festival has launched the platform dedicated to the new generation:
Rock Talk – School of Rock
20 years after its founding and on the threshold of its 18th edition, after some of the most emblematic names in international rock have taken the ARTmania stage – Korn, Nightwish, Serj Tankian, Die Toten Hosen, Porcupine Tree, Meshuggah, Wardruna, Helloween, HIM, Opeth – we look back with pride at what we have built together:
Community. Culture. Tradition.
We were young, fresh graduates or still students, when we started on this path. And today, after almost two decades, we keep the flame alive.
Above any headliner, our pride is the ARTmania community – a vibrant community of people who have a passion for art, for music, for beauty.
From respectable seniors to curious children, from teenagers with guitars on their backs to babies taking their first steps on stage – together we form a family.
This community is connected not only by the sound of drums or electrifying riffs, but by values:
Respect. Tolerance. Compassion. Inclusion. Honesty. Freedom.
In a fragile social context, in which public dialogue is degraded and young people are becoming less and less civically involved, ARTmania reacts:
Rock Talk – School of Rock
A platform for education, culture and democratic awareness, part of the ARTmania festival

WHY NOW?
Because without active and connected young people, Romania risks losing not only its democratic direction, but also its festivals.
Without culture, education and the freedom to feel and think freely, the scene becomes silent.
OUR MESSAGE IS CLEAR:
Music. Education. Civic voice. Young people who change Romania.
