ARTmania Festival offers jobs to the Ukrainian community in Sibiu

Celebrating its 15th anniversary, ARTmania takes place between July 22-24, in the Great Square in Sibiu and announced the availability of a number of essential roles for the smooth running of the festival, in the production and hospitality teams, positions which are opened for Ukrainians living in Sibiu:
- Cashier
- Tablet operator
- Bartender
- Assistant bartender
- Festival runner
- Production assistant
Currently, there are thousands of Ukrainians in Sibiu who have chosen to settle here since the war started in their home country. They considered Sibiu a safe space to relocate to after all the challenges and adversities they were forced to face since February. We wish to continue to show them our support and involve them in the most awaited and important cultural events hosted by our city. Therefore, we launched this recruitment process for Ukrainians in Sibiu, for ARTmania Festival, to introduce them to the generous cultural life of the area and, at the same time, to offer them the opportunity to get directly involved in creating a memorable experience for our community.“

The job descriptions and responsibilities are listed on artery.community, a platform developed by ARTmania Festival, in partnership with Music Export Ukraine and Pohoda Festival, which aims to provide support to creatives and professionals in the music industry who have been forced to leave the war zones and relocate to other European countries.

ARTmania is constantly exploring new directions, building on the experience of previous editions, when a number of important artists and bands went on stage, international names like: Steven Wilson, Peter Hammill, Serj Tankian, Devin Townsend, Die Toten Hosen, Nightwish, Within Temptation, HIM, Tarja Turunen, The Gathering, The Sisters of Mercy, Anathema, Apocalyptica, Lacuna Coil, Helloween, Lacrimosa, Poets of the Fall or Deine Lakaien among many others.
